Hajjaj narrated to us, Layth narrated to us, ‘Aqil narrated to me, from Ibn Shihab, that he said: Salim ibn ‘Abdullah informed me that he heard ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying: "Do not prevent the women from the mosques if they ask your permission for them." Bilal ibn ‘Abdullah said: "By Allah, we will certainly prevent them." ‘Abdullah turned to him when he said that and cursed him.
