Musnad 'Abdullah bin 'Umar (RA)
Hadith 27:182
Isma'il narrated to us, from 'Abd al-Khaliq, who said: I asked Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib about *nabidh* (fermented drink). He said: I heard 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar saying at this pulpit of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace): The delegation of 'Abd al-Qays arrived with al-Ashajj, and they asked the Prophet of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) about drinks. He said: "Do not drink from a *hantamah* (green glazed jar), nor from a *duba'* (gourd), nor from a *naqir* (hollowed-out log)." I said to him: "O Abu Muhammad, and the *muzaffat* (pitch-coated vessel)?" I thought that he had forgotten. He said: "I did not hear it from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar on that day, although he used to dislike it."
