Musnad 'Abdullah bin 'Umar (RA)

Hadith 27:1852

Abu Kamil narrated to us, Ibrahim bin Sa'd narrated to us, Ibn Shihab narrated to us, he said: Salim narrated to me, that Abdullah bin Umar said: By Allah, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) never said that Isa (peace be upon him) was red. Rather, he said: "While I was sleeping, I saw myself circumambulating the Kaaba, when suddenly there was a man of brown complexion, with straight hair, being supported between two men, with his head dripping or pouring water. I said: 'Who is this?' They said: 'This is the son of Maryam.' He said: Then I turned around, and suddenly there was a red-complexioned man, bulky, with curly hair, blind in his right eye, as if his eye were a floating grape. I said: 'Who is this?' They said: 'This is the Dajjal. The person I saw who most resembles him is Ibn Qatan.'" Ibn Shihab said: "A man from Khuza'a, from Banu al-Mustaliq, who died during the Jahiliyyah."
