Hadith 27:1890

'Ali ibn Ishaq narrated to us, 'Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, Ma'mar informed us, from al-Zuhri, Salim narrated to me, from his father, that he heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), when he raised his head from bowing in the final rak'ah of the dawn prayer, saying: "O Allah, curse so-and-so, and so-and-so, and so-and-so," after he would say: "Allah hears those who praise Him, our Lord, and to You is the praise." Then Allah the Exalted revealed: "Not for you is the decision whether He turns to them in mercy or punishes them, for they are indeed wrongdoers" [Al 'Imran: 128].
