Musnad Ahmad 27:1893

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from 'Abd Allah ibn Abi Bakr ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, from Umayyah ibn 'Abd Allah, that he said to Ibn 'Umar: "We find the prayer of fear and the prayer of the resident in the Qur'an, but we do not find the prayer of the traveler." Ibn 'Umar said: "Allah sent His Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, while we were the most ignorant of people, so we do as we saw the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, do."
