Musnad Ahmad 27:1896

'Abd al-Razzaq and Ibn Bakr narrated to us, they said: Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, Nafi' informed me, from Ibn 'Umar, that he informed him from the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), or from 'Umar—Nafi' the narrator was certain, he said: I am certain that it is one of the two, and I do not see it except from the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace)—he said: "None of you should wrap himself in prayer in the manner of the Jews, by wrapping himself [completely] in his garment. Whoever has two garments, let him wrap one around his waist and drape the other over his shoulders. And whoever does not have two garments, let him wrap one around his waist, then let him pray."
