Musnad 'Abdullah bin 'Umar (RA)

Hadith 27:1899

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj informed us, Nafi' informed me, that Ibn 'Umar would sometimes send him while he was fasting, and his dinner would be brought to him, and the call for the Maghrib prayer would be made, and then it would be established while he could hear it, yet he would not leave his dinner, nor would he hasten until he finished his dinner, then he would go out and pray. He said: And he used to say: The Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Do not hasten from your dinner when it is brought to you."
