Musnad Ahmad 27:1956

'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, Ya'la ibn Hakim narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, who said: I heard Ibn 'Umar saying: "The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) forbade the nabidh (fermented drink) of the jar (earthenware vessel)." He said: So I came to Ibn 'Abbas and mentioned that to him, and he said: "He spoke the truth." I said: "What is the jar?" He said: "Everything that is made of clay."
