Musnad Ahmad 27:1959

'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from 'Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn 'Aqil, from Ibn 'Umar: "The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, clothed him in a garment, so he wore it. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saw it and mentioned what is below the ankles, and he mentioned the Fire, until he mentioned a severe statement regarding the trailing of the lower garment (isbal)."
