Musnad Ahmad 27:1993

Hammad narrated to us, from Malik, from Nafi’, from Ibn Umar, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Whoever emancipates his share in a slave, it shall be valued from his wealth. If he does not have wealth, then that which was emancipated of him is emancipated."
