Yahya narrated to us, from Husayn, Amr ibn Shu’ayb narrated to us, Sulayman, the freed slave of Maymunah, narrated to me, he said: I came upon Ibn Umar while he was at al-Balat, and the people were praying in the mosque. I said: "What prevents you from praying with the people, or the group?" He said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: 'Do not perform a prayer twice in one day.'"
