Musnad Ahmad 27:280

Ibn Numayr narrated to us, Fudayl—meaning Ibn Ghazwan—narrated to us, from Nafi’, from Abdullah ibn Umar, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to Fatimah and found a curtain on her door, so he did not enter upon her. It was rare that he would enter without beginning with her. He said: Then Ali came and saw her looking concerned, so he said: "What is the matter with you?" She said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to me, but he did not enter upon me." So Ali went to him and said: "O Messenger of Allah, it weighed heavily upon Fatimah that you came to her and did not enter upon her." He said: "What do I have to do with the world? And what do I have to do with patterned cloth?" He said: So he went to Fatimah and informed her of the statement of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). She said: "Then tell the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): What do you command me to do with it?" He said: "Tell her to send it to the family of so-and-so."
