Musnad Ahmad 27:293

Ya'la ibn 'Ubayd narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Ishaq narrated to us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) forbidding women in the state of Ihram from wearing gloves and the niqab (face veil), and from wearing garments touched by wars (a yellow dye) or saffron.
