Musnad Ahmad 27:323

Waki’ narrated to us, Thabit ibn ‘Amarah narrated to us, from Abu Tamimah al-Hujaymi, from Ibn ‘Umar, who said: "I prayed with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and Abu Bakr, and ‘Umar, and ‘Uthman, and there is no prayer after the dawn [prayer] until it rises," meaning the sun.
