Waki’ narrated to us, ‘Abd al-‘Aziz ibn ‘Umar ibn ‘Abd al-‘Aziz narrated to us, from Abu Tu’mah, their freed slave, and from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn ‘Abd Allah al-Ghafiqi, that they both heard Ibn ‘Umar say: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Wine has been cursed from ten aspects: Wine itself has been cursed, and its drinker, its server, its seller, its buyer, its presser, the one for whom it is pressed, its carrier, the one to whom it is carried, and the consumer of its price."
