Musnad 'Abdullah bin 'Umar (RA)

مسند عبد الله بن عمر رضي الله عنهما

Hadith 27:35

Isma'il narrated to us, Ayyub informed us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar, that a man said: "O Messenger of Allah, what does the *muhrim* (pilgrim in ihram) wear?" Or he said: "What does the *muhrim* leave off?" He said: "He shall not wear the shirt, nor the trousers, nor the turban, nor the leather socks, unless he does not find sandals. Whoever does not find sandals, let him wear them [the leather socks] below the ankles. And [he shall not wear] the hooded cloak (*burnus*), nor anything of the garments touched by *wars* (a yellow dye) or saffron."

حدثنا إسماعيل، أخبرنا أيوب، عن نافع، عن ابن عمر، أن رجلا قال: يا رسول الله، ما يلبس المحرم؟ أو قال: ما يترك المحرم؟ فقال: " لا يلبس القميص، ولا السراويل، ولا العمامة، ولا الخفين، إلا أن لا يجد نعلين، فمن لم يجد نعلين فليلبسهما أسفل من الكعبين، ولا البرنس، ولا شيئا من الثياب مسه، ورس، ولا زعفران "
