Musnad Ahmad 27:362

Yazid narrated to us, Husayn ibn Dhakwan—meaning al-Mu‘allim—informed us, from ‘Amr ibn Shu‘ayb, from Tawus, that Ibn ‘Umar and Ibn ‘Abbas raised it to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, that he said: "It is not lawful for a man to give a gift and then take it back, except for a father regarding what he gives his child. And the likeness of one who gives a gift and then takes it back is like the likeness of a dog that ate until it was full, then vomited, then returned to its vomit."
