Musnad Ahmad 27:399

Yazid narrated to us, Hisham informed us, from Muhammad ibn Sirin, from Ibn Umar, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "The Maghrib prayer is the Witr (odd-numbered prayer) of the day, so perform Witr for the prayer of the night."
