Musnad Ahmad 27:430

Yazid narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, from Muhammad, from Ibn Umar, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "The night prayer is two by two, and the Witr is one rak'ah from the end of the night."
