Musnad Ahmad 27:46

Isma'il narrated to us, Ayyub informed us, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar: "That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade the sale of date palms until they show color, and [the sale of] ears of grain until they whiten and are safe from blight. He forbade [both] the seller and the buyer."
