'Abd al-Razzaq and Ibn Bakr narrated to us, they said: Ibn Jurayj informed us, Ibn Tawus informed me, from his father, from Ibn 'Umar, that a man asked him and said: "Did the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbid making nabidh (fermented drink) in the jar and the gourd?" He said: "Yes."
