Musnad Ahmad 27:465

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj informed us, Abu al-Zubayr informed me that he heard Ibn 'Umar saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, forbidding the *jar* (earthenware jar), the *muzaffat* (pitch-coated vessel), and the *duba'* (gourd). Abu al-Zubayr said: And I heard Jabir ibn 'Abd Allah saying: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, forbade the *jar*, the *muzaffat*, and the *naqir* (hollowed-out log). And when the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, did not find anything to have [a drink] steeped for him in, it would be steeped for him in a *tawr* (basin) made of stone.
