'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar informed us, from Thabit al-Bunani, who said: I asked Ibn 'Umar about the nabidh (fermented drink) of the jar, and he said: "It is haram." I said: "Did the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, forbid it?" Ibn 'Umar said: "They claim that."
