Musnad Ahmad 27:509

'Abdah ibn Sulayman Abu Muhammad al-Kilabi narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, from his father, from Ibn 'Umar, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood at the well of Badr and said: "Have you found what your Lord promised you to be true?" Then he said: "They hear what I say." This was mentioned to 'A'ishah, and she said: "What does Ibn 'Umar mean? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) only said: 'They now know that what I used to say to them was indeed the truth.'"
