Musnad Ahmad 27:51

Isma'il narrated to us, Ayyub narrated to us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar: That the Jews came to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, with a man and a woman from among them who had committed adultery. He said: "What do you find in your Book?" They said: "We blacken their faces and they are disgraced." He said: "You have lied; indeed, it contains the stoning. So bring the Torah and recite it if you are truthful." They brought the Torah and brought a reader of theirs who was one-eyed, called Ibn Suriya. He read until, when he reached a place in it, he placed his hand over it. It was said to him: "Lift your hand." He lifted his hand, and there it was, shining. He said, or they said: "O Muhammad, indeed it contains the stoning, but we used to keep it hidden among ourselves." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, commanded them, and they were stoned. He said: I saw him leaning over her, protecting her from the stones with his own body.
