Musnad Ahmad 27:510

'Abdah narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, from his father, from Ibn 'Umar, from the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he said: "Indeed, the deceased is punished because of the weeping of his family over him." This was mentioned to 'Aishah, and she said: "May [Allah] forgive Ibn 'Umar. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) only passed by a grave and said: 'Indeed, the occupant of this [grave] is being punished, while his family is weeping over him.'" Then she recited this verse: "And no bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another." [Al-An'am: 164]
