Musnad 'Abdullah bin 'Umar (RA)

Hadith 27:511

'Abdah narrated to us, 'Ubaydullah narrated to us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), when he would return from military expeditions, raiding parties, Hajj, or 'Umrah, upon reaching a high ground, he would say the Takbir three times, then say: "There is no god but Allah alone, He has no partner. To Him belongs the dominion, and to Him belongs the praise, and He is capable of all things. We are returning, repenting, worshipping, prostrating, and to our Lord praising. He fulfilled His promise, granted victory to His servant, and defeated the confederates alone."
