Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, Usamah ibn Zayd narrated to me, Nafi’ narrated to me, from Ibn ‘Umar, that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) returned from Uhud, the women of the Ansar began to weep for those of their husbands who had been killed. He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "But Hamzah has no one to weep for him." He said: Then he slept, and he awoke while they were still weeping. He said: So, to this day, when they weep, they lament for Hamzah.
