Musnad Ahmad 27:543

Yazid narrated to us, Hisham informed us, from Muhammad, from Ibn Umar, from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, that he said: "The Maghrib prayer is the Witr (odd-numbered prayer) of the day, so perform Witr for the prayer of the night."
