Musnad Ahmad 27:564

Muhammad ibn Ja'far and Bahz narrated to us, they said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Jabalah, I heard Ibn 'Umar narrating, he said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, forbade the *hantamah*." I said to him: "What is the *hantamah*?" He said: "The earthenware jar."
