Musnad Ahmad 27:658

He said: And the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Five [creatures]—there is no sin upon him, and it is forbidden [to kill others, but these are permitted]—that he may kill: the snake, the scorpion, the mouse, the vicious dog, and the kite."
