Isma'il narrated to us, Ayyub informed us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar, who said—I believe he attributed it to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him—he said: "When one of you dies, his seat is displayed to him morning and evening. If he is among the people of Paradise, then [it is] from Paradise, and if he is among the people of the Fire, then [it is] from the Fire. It is said: 'This is your seat until Allah resurrects you to it on the Day of Resurrection.'"
