Musnad Ahmad 27:701

Yahya narrated to us, from Ubaydullah, Nafi’ informed me, from Abdullah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Whoever emancipates his share in a slave, the whole of him is emancipated. If the one who emancipated his share possesses wealth that reaches the value of the slave, then he is obligated to emancipate the whole of him."
