Musnad Ahmad 27:702

Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from 'Ubayd Allah, Nafi' informed me, from 'Abdullah, that he gave the Adhan at Dajnan on the night of the 'Isha' prayer. Then he said immediately after that: "Lo, pray in your dwellings." And he informed us that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to command a caller to say: "Lo, pray in your dwellings," on a cold or rainy night while traveling.
