Yahya narrated to us, from Ubaydullah, Nafi’ informed me, from Ibn Umar, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the *qara’* (gourd) and the *muzaffat* (pitch-coated vessel)."
