Musnad Ahmad 27:708

Yahya narrated to us, from Ubaydullah, Nafi’ informed me, from Ibn Umar, "That the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, cut [the hand of a thief] for a shield whose price was three dirhams."
