Musnad Ahmad 27:709

Yahya narrated to us, from Ubaydullah, Nafi’ informed me, from Ibn Umar, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who said: "Every two parties to a sale have the option [to rescind or confirm] as long as they have not separated, or unless the sale is one of option."
