Musnad Ahmad 27:71

'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from Salim, from Ibn 'Umar: "That the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to pray upon his riding beast wherever it faced him."
