Musnad Ahmad 27:725

Yahya narrated to us, from Ubaydullah, who said: Nafi’ informed me, from Ibn Umar, who said: "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, obligated Sadaqat al-Fitr upon the young and the old, and the free and the slave, as a Sa’ of dates or barley."
