Musnad Ahmad 27:742

Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Shu'bah, and Ibn Ja'far said: Shu'bah narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Murrah narrated to me, from Zadhan, who said: I said to Ibn 'Umar: Inform me of what the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) forbade regarding vessels, and explain it to us in our language, for we have a language other than your language. He said: "He forbade the *hantam*, which is the green jar; he forbade the *muzaffat*, which is the pitch-coated vessel; he forbade the *duba'*, which is the gourd; and he forbade the *naqir*, which is a palm trunk that is hollowed out by carving and woven." He said: "So in what do you command us to drink?" He said: "In the waterskins." Muhammad said: "And he commanded that we make *nabidh* (fermented drink) in the waterskins."
