Musnad 'Abdullah bin 'Umar (RA)

Hadith 27:745

Yahya narrated to us, from Isma'il, who said: Wabarah informed me, saying: A man came to Ibn 'Umar and said: "Is it permissible for me to circumambulate the House (the Ka'bah) while I am in the state of Ihram?" He said: "What prevents you from that?" He said: "So-and-so forbids us from that, until the people return from the station (Arafat)." And I saw that it was as if the world had leaned upon him (i.e., he was distressed), and "You are more pleasing to us than him." Ibn 'Umar said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) performed Hajj, and he circumambulated the House, and he performed Sa'i between Safa and Marwah." And the Sunnah of Allah, the Exalted, and His Messenger is more worthy to be followed than the Sunnah of the son of so-and-so, if you are truthful.
