Waki’ narrated to us, Shu’bah narrated to us, from Muharib ibn Dithar, who said: I heard Ibn ‘Umar saying: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the *duba* (gourd), the *hantam* (green glazed jar), and the *muzaffat* (pitch-coated vessel)." Shu’bah said: And I believe he also said: "And the *naqir* (hollowed-out log)."
