Waki’ narrated to us, from Hammad, from Bishr ibn Harb, who said: I heard Ibn Umar saying: "Your raising of your hands is an innovation; the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not exceed this," meaning up to the chest.
