Musnad Ahmad 27:907

'Ali ibn Hafs narrated to us, Warqa' informed us, from 'Abdullah ibn Dinar, from Ibn 'Umar, "That the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade *al-qaza'* (shaving part of the head and leaving part of it) on the head."
