Ya'qub narrated to us, my father narrated to us, from Ibn Ishaq, Nafi', the freed slave of Abdullah ibn Umar, narrated to me, from Abdullah ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave Umar ibn al-Khattab a slave girl from the captives of Hawazin, and he gifted her to me. I sent her to my maternal uncles from the tribe of Banu Jumah so that they might groom her for me, until I performed the circumambulation of the House (the Kaaba), and then I would come to them, intending to have intercourse with her when I returned to her. He said: I left the mosque when I had finished, and suddenly the people were rushing. I said: "What is the matter with you?" They said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has returned our children and our women to us." He said: I said: "That companion of yours is among the Banu Jumah, so go and take her." They went and took her.
