Musnad 'Abdullah bin 'Umar (RA)

Hadith 27:936

Hassan ibn Musa narrated to us, he said: Zuhair narrated to us, 'Umarah ibn Ghaziyyah narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Rashid, who said: We went out as ten pilgrims from the people of Ash-Sham until we came to Makkah. He mentioned the hadith and said: So we came to him, and he—meaning Ibn 'Umar—came out to us and said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: "Whoever’s intercession prevents a prescribed punishment (hadd) from the prescribed punishments of Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, has opposed the command of Allah. And whoever dies while having a debt, it will not be settled with dinars or dirhams, but rather with good deeds and bad deeds. And whoever disputes regarding a falsehood while knowing it, he remains in the wrath of Allah until he desists. And whoever says about a believer that which is not in him, Allah will house him in the 'Radghat al-Khabal' (the mud of the inhabitants of Hell) until he exits from what he said."
