Hadith 25:1030
Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, from Abu Alwan, he said: I heard Ibn Abbas saying: "Fifty prayers were made obligatory upon your Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. So he asked his Lord, the Almighty and Majestic, and He made them five."
حدثنا يحيى بن آدم، حدثنا شريك، عن أبي علوان، قال: سمعت ابن عباس، يقول: " فرض على نبيكم صلى الله عليه وسلم خمسون صلاة، فسأل ربه عز وجل، فجعلها خمسا "
