Musnad Ahmad 25:1063

Abu al-Nadr narrated to us, Abd al-Hamid narrated to us, Shahr narrated to me, from Ibn Abbas, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade categories of women, except those who were among the believing emigrant women. He said: 'It is not lawful for you to take other women after this, nor to replace them with other wives, even if their beauty pleases you, except those whom your right hand possesses' [Al-Ahzab: 52]. So Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, made lawful for you your believing young women: 'And a believing woman if she gives herself to the Prophet' [Al-Ahzab: 50]. And He forbade every woman of a religion other than the religion of Islam. He said: 'And whoever denies the faith, his work has become worthless, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers' [Al-Ma'idah: 5]. And He said: 'O Prophet, indeed We have made lawful to you your wives to whom you have given their due compensation and those your right hand possesses' [Al-Ahzab: 50]—up to His saying—'exclusively for you, excluding the [other] believers' [Al-Ahzab: 50]. And He forbade other than that from the categories of women."
