Hadith 25:1087
Rawh narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, he said: Zakariyya ibn Umar informed me that Ata informed him that Abdullah ibn Abbas invited al-Fadl to food on the day of Arafah, so he said: "I am fasting." Abdullah said: "Do not fast, for the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, had a milking brought to him, and he drank from it on this day, and the people follow your example."
حدثنا روح، حدثنا ابن جريج، قال: أخبرني زكريا بن عمر، أن عطاء، أخبره: أن عبد الله بن عباس، دعا الفضل يوم عرفة إلى طعام، فقال: إني صائم. فقال عبد الله: " لا تصم، فإن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قرب إليه حلاب، فشرب منه هذا اليوم، وإن الناس يستنون بكم "
