Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 25:1094
Rawh narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, he said: Ziyad informed me that Salih, the freed slave of al-Taw'amah, informed him that he heard Ibn Abbas narrating from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: "Indeed, the kinship (al-rahim) is a branch (shujnah) taking hold of the waist-wrapper (hujzah) of the Most Merciful. He joins whoever joins it, and He severs whoever severs it."
حدثنا روح، حدثنا ابن جريج، قال: أخبرني زياد، أن صالحا، مولى التوأمة أخبره، أنه سمع ابن عباس، يحدث عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إن الرحم شجنة آخذة بحجزة الرحمن، يصل من وصلها، ويقطع من قطعها "
